Vets Connect - Terms and Conditions

These Terms ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Vets Connect Inc. governing your use of the Vets Connect app. By downloading or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

1.1 Who Can Use the App

Veterans of any armed forces branch
Active-duty military and reserve/National Guard members
Eligible family members (for informational features only)

1.2 Your Account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at connectvets.app@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

1.3 Veteran Verification

Benefits access requires authentic verification documents. Submitting false or forged documents is fraud and may result in account termination, legal action, and reporting to authorities.

2. License & Permitted Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Prohibited Conduct

Misrepresenting identity, military status, or eligibility
Reverse-engineering, hacking, or scraping the App
Uploading malware or harmful code
Reselling or commercially exploiting discounts or benefits
Posting defamatory, hateful, or rights-infringing content

3. Partner Discounts & Benefits

Discounts are offered by independent third-party partners. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or continuous validity of any offer. Disputes over a transaction are between you and the partner — the Company bears no liability for partner conduct, product quality, or refusal to honour a discount.

4. Healthcare & Facility Information

Information about VA hospitals, clinics, and welfare centers is for general reference only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of facility listings.

5. Intellectual Property

All App content — text, graphics, logos, software — is owned by Vets Connect Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.vetsconnect.app/privacy-policy, incorporated herein by reference.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of Liability

VETS CONNECT INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vets Connect Inc. from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, submission of fraudulent documents, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your license immediately ends. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Company is registered. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation (30 days), then binding arbitration. Class action lawsuits are waived.

12. General

Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between us.
Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive it.
No Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
